RICS Home Surveys: Level 2 & 3 / HomeBuyers Survey & Building Survey
The reason for this change is to incorporate updates to the RICS survey for a better client service. The good news is that at Julian Wilkins & Co. Chartered Surveyors we were already providing our survey clients with an enhanced service including many of the updates and improvements RICS have set out. We are really pleased that we can continue to give our survey clients an excellent survey service for a reasonable cost.
Choosing the right survey will help highlight any serious problems and advise you of specific risks before you commit to buying a property.
Julian Wilkins & Co. Chartered Surveyors are licensed to provide the official RICS Home Surveys – Level 2 (previously the HomeBuyers survey) and Level 3 (previously the Building Survey). All our surveys include thorough inspections of the property and are undertaken by experienced RICS Chartered Surveyors. We provide our survey clients with a telephone consultation on the day of the survey so you can be informed about the property straight away.
When purchasing a property, it is important to remember that if you have had a mortgage lender’s valuation report, this is not a survey. It merely tells your lender whether or not the property is reasonable security for your loan.
A RICS Home Survey gives you detailed information about the condition of the property. Important information which can be invaluable during price negotiations and will also help you avoid expensive surprises after you have moved in.
